The SD-X1 Pro X1 is optimised for a lower, tour-preferred flight and maximum driver distance. Players who choose it are likely to low handicap or stronger swingers looking for maximum distance off the tee.

The original SD-X1 design was focused on speed and pushed the limits to the max. The ball was so fast, that it exceeded the R\&A limits for initial velocity while staying in the 5% tolerance allowed.

The new SD-X1 2nd Generation see the Seed design team build on that speed & performance and features several design upgrades including a faster core, more elastic mantle layer, a thinner cast urethane cover and a new dimple pattern.

I bought the Pro X1 and found them too hard for me, so I then bought SD-01 but also find them too hard. Maybe the SD-05 will be a good ball for me but for now I am sticking to SRIXON QSTAR Tour. Sorry to give a negative review but the balls simply do not suit my swing speed.

The golf balls are really great. Look and feel like the best out there. Didn’t see any differences in distance and touch around the green. Only difference for me is that the ball doesn’t last as long as a ProV. still played a solid 18 holes with the ball. As an amateur you tend to lose a couple balls per round so longevity of the ball doesn’t quite matter to me

Love these!

I recently changed from AVX to the Seed Pro X1. Almost immediately I loved the feel of them off the face, which gave me more confidence striking the ball. I am now back hitting distances I used to hit 10 years ago. Cannot recommend these enough, and I now make sure I have a good stock of spares.

SD-X1

Have been playing this ball for a few weeks now and find it excellent, I’m relatively new to golf and have been trying all the leading brands over the past couple of years. To be honest i have been just buying balls with no idea what would work for me. This Seed ball has ended my search, the reason being, it’s comparable to any of them at a really reasonable price. All I have to do now is to teach it to stay on the fairway 😂
